Roadtrip to Christina...but NOT to Canada

I ended up driving up Thursday afternoon, checking in the hotel and then meeting Christina at Brads house.  Actually they were at the pool, so I ended up going there.  I finally got to meet Sean in person (since I have only Skyped him) and Brad.  We ended up sitting there for awhile and then went back to Brad's house for a few hours.

Got up Friday and went to pick up Christina so we could do some shopping with the kids.  Of course, Friday was Canada Day so I expected no less when pulling up to Brad's house.  Brad is Canadian too, ya know!
We determined that ALL the kids were going shopping with us, so we waiting on Taylor to get home from VBS and then we were off.  I hadn't had a sweet tea yet, so obviously, that was the priority.  Jake and I went in to get drinks for everyone and Jake was amazed at how BIG the large cups for tea were!  And, I found out, that Christina had never had a SWEET TEA!  What?  Are you kidding me?  I practically main-line sweet tea!  So needless to say, I was making her drink one.  A LARGE one!
Since we didn't know where we were going, Taylor was our 'official' GPS.  Remind me, next time to put the actual GPS in the car.  Taylor got us to where we needed to be but at the last minute.  A little more notice next time there Taylor, right?
We finally got to Chesterfield Mall.  It wasn't huge but had some good shops.  I did find a store called Glory Formal.  We walked by the window and I fell in love with the most gorgeous gowns.  Totally beautiful.  They had no menswear just girls/womens.
All the dresses were gorgeous!  Even the pink one, and Im not a pink person, but absolutely beautiful.  I would definately find somewhere to wear it.  We went in and didn't realize that they sold wedding gowns.  Totally awesome!  I found THE one.  You know THE one if I ever get to buy another one.  Its definately me and NOT white.  But I totally fell in love with it the moment I saw it!  I didn't want to leave Richmond without it.
Christina and I found the massage chairs.  Mine didn't work, but we all took turns in Christinas!  Jake particularily liked the 'crack' massager.  Don't worry Jake, we won't tell anyone!  Shhhhhhhh
We did find too many shifts that 'fit' us!  Totally!
Lunch time-everyone went different directions.  I did find this balloon lady outside the Chik-fil-a counter.  She was made up of 100% balloons!
Taylor and Tessa wanted to go to Hollister.  Since I have officially 'banned' that store, Christina and I headed to another store.  When we came back, Jake had picked up some educational material to review.  Whatcha learnin about their Jake?
After a full day of shopping, we headed back to Brads for a cookout.  Sean proceeded tot ell me that this bottle of Jack would be $80 in Canada.  Hey!  Maybe thats another reason to move to North Carolina?
I didn't have Bob but I did have the octopus hat that Renee had given me.  Sean didn't complain at all!
Next up-Brad!  I got him while his hands were full!  He couldn't argue OR take it off!  Yeah me!
At the end of the day, Christina and I had to get pics, but it took her 30 minutes and 15 takes to get one without our heads chopped off! ha ha.  I wasn't sure what time on Saturday I was leaving as the girls were coming home.
Signature shot before I left, of course!  Totally awesome 3 days.  So glad I got to see Christina and meet Sean, Tessa and Jake!  Can't wait till the cruise!
