Dad had gotten AT & T U-verse awhile back, so I was asking a ton of questions. Dad said the biggest thing was that you had to be within a certain distance of the fiber-optic lines. But all in all, I felt like it was going to give DirecTV a run for their money. I have had DirecTV for probably 15 years, and I was looking for a change.One day 2 AT & T salesmen came up explaining I was on the list of AT & T customers (cell phones) and they were letting us know that U-Verse was now available. I laughed, and said this is going to be your easiest sell all day. So, we switched. Took about 15 minutes for him to set it up, got installation set up for the very next week and added internet service so I could leave Time-Warner cable AND I am saving about $60 a month! Woot Woot!
I am very satisfied so far. We get HD in all the rooms for no additional charges per receiver. We can record and watch any show in any room, which makes it great for the kids. The internet is superfast, which, again, is great for the kids. And I get an additional discount on my cell phone service, yippee!
