Universal Studios

I had emailed Pam numerous times in an effort to figure out what we wanted to do, Universal, Disney, beach, anything. We decided on Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. So Friday we got up and headed to Universal Studios. We were planning on spending all day here and then heading to Islands of Adventure which is right beside Universal Studios.
The weather was great. At Universal you end up parking in this HUGE parking garage and then walking through CityWalk and around a huge lake, past the Hard Rock Cafe to Universal Studios. Parking was $15 which wasn't too good. But we were on vacation, so I didn't care! Which seemed to be my motto so far!
This was the only ride/performance that we had to wait for all day. The show was 30 minutes long and they had closed the doors so we sat down to take a break. Pam of course was keeping up with all the 'breaking news'....NOT!

In our spare time, we caught JAWS! This ride was a boat ride through Amity where Jaws is loose. Pretty cool!
I think this was on the ride before we got wet! Not soaking wet, just wet!

Assume the position! Yep, thats pretty much me....fitting right in!

I figure this shirt could be given to the entire ER staff. Ill have to contact some vendors to see what we can do.
I think it fits! It is definately me, isn't it! I think this was Revenge of the Mummy! More and more rides were becoming 3-D rides. Pretty awesome actually.
Pam, fitting right in, of course! Deep down, Pam has a thing for the Simpsons...and seeing them in person just made her day!
Universal Studios were gearing up for Halloween. This area that we walked through had hundreds of pumpkins all over the walkways, in the trees and placed everywhere. It was pretty neat!~

Pam changed her must have to Scooby Doo when she saw him! I think Pam has ADD!

I think that looks like my Mom! (Just kidding) But really, I wouldn't mind putting that in the front of the ER or putting in my car so when we drive home it can look out the sunroof for 8 hours! That ought to be enteraining traveling on I-95.

We left Universal around 1700 and headed to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. We were both hungry and eager to sit down. Had to get Nathan a glass (because we all know, its all about Nathan) and then I could actually eat dinner!

We headed back through City Walk in the direction of the car. There are several shops and restaurants along the way as well as a stage platform. All in all a very good day! Bring on tomorrow! I have made in two days and haven't killed my sister yet! Life is good!
